Matthew is a graduate of Guildhall graduate and hails from Cork, Ireland. He is co-repped with Sovran Carey in Ireland and can currently be seen playing Philly Cullen in The Playboy of the Western World at the National Theatre.

Credits whilst training include: Sean in ‘Days of Significance’, Jack in ‘Maytag Virgin’, Benedick in ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ and John Reed in ‘Jane Eyre’ as well as Matt in the short film ‘Bookshop’ directed by Helen Iley.

Theatre includes: Philly Cullen in The Playboy of the Western World (National Theatre) & Tom in A Guy Called Scott Crawls Under a Table and Won’t Come Out (Barons Court Theatre)

Short Films include: Drake in If I Should Fall From Grace With God.
