Dominic was born in Liverpool but brought up in Birmingham and now lives in Brighton.
Most recently Dominic played Huxley in the Asian tour of WALKING WITH DINOSAURS. Other credits include Ed Morrison in HOLLYOAKS for Lime Pictures, Father Mathew Mcloughlin in 5 episodes of HOLBY CITY; semi-regular in the channel five soap FAMILY AFFAIRS playing Tony. Previously he played Mike Brake in ITV’s late night soap NIGHT AND DAY, the sneaky physio Michael Wall in CORONATION STREET and a run in HEARTBEAT, playing Gina’s boyfriend Steve Adams.
Dominic has had lead guest roles in episodes of CASUALTY, THE ROYAL, MIDSOMER MURDERS, WAKING THE DEAD, ROME, SILENT WITNESS, POWERS, TRUST, HOLBY CITY, CASUALTY, DANGERFIELD, SOLDIER SOLDIER, DOCTORS, BACK UP and THE BILL.
FILM includes THE WELL with Steve Guttenburg. He also played the father in Peter Kosminsky’s TV film about bullying WALKING ON THE MOON.
Previous theatre highlights include WALKING WITH DINOSAURS (UK and Worldwide Tour), playing Romeo for the English Shakespeare Company and walking on stark naked in BENT at the National Theatre. He played The Actor inTHE WOMAN IN BLACK at the Fortune Theatre and Edmund in Timothy West’s KING LEAR for the English Touring Theatre and Old Vic.
Other work includes Benvolio in R4J for the English Shakespeare Company and Macduff in MACBETH for English Shakespeare Education, the Alderman in FUENTE OVENJUNA at the National Theatre and Banquo in MACBETH for National Theatre Education, Richard II in THE MAKING OF A KING at Farnham, Johnny in COUCHGRASS AND RIBBON at Newbury, Oliver in AS YOU LIKE IT for Tamara Theatre and THE MAN OF MODE, KISSING THE POPE and THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER for the RSC.
Dominic started out by winning the Carlton Hobbs Radio Award, as a result, he spent a season on BBC’s Radio Rep company, followed by 144 episodes of Radio 4’s soap CITIZENS.
His other work ranges from training Management consultants to introducing six year olds to Shakespeare. Dominic has directed three education tours for the English Shakespeare Company as well as many years devising and leading drama work for children and young adults with the Royal National Theatre and the Eden Court Theatre, Inverness.
