Andrew Hopkins

Andrew graduated from the GSA Conservatoire in 2004, where he was the Sean McGrath scholar. His first job as musical director was for the play She Stoops to Conquer at Hampton Court Palace in the presence of HRH The Earl of Wessex.

Andrew created and ran The Welsh Musical Theatre Orchestra for twelve years conducting in some of the biggest venues internationally. He has worked with some of the biggest names in Musical Theatre, including Dame Julie Andrews, Angela Lansbury and Leslie Bricusse.

Theatre credits include: Snow White (Crawley Hawth), Beauty and the Beast (Queens theatre), The Three Musketeers (The Barn, Cirencester), Hairspray! (Royal Caribbean), Music Of The Night (UK Tour), The New Adventures of Peter Pan (Lichfield Garrick), Brass (Mountview Theatre Arts), Feelin’ Lucky (Wales Millennium Centre), It Happened in Key West (Charing Cross Theatre) and Scrooge (Leicester Curve).
