Michael recently played Mickey Dean in END OF THE RAINBOW at the Edinburgh Festival and before that could be seen as Sir Percival Glyde in THE WOMAN IN WHITE at the Palace Theatre. His recent work includes starring as Wild Bill opposite Toyah Wilcox in CALAMITY JANE at the Shaftesbury Theatre and on national tour; Alejandro Vega in the workshop production of ZORRO - THE MUSICAL at the Venue; Mike in the workshop production of EX! at the Arts Theatre, and Che in a staged concert production of EVITA at the Zouk Amphitheatre in Beirut, Lebanon.
Previous theatre credits include The Prince in the new musical version of ROMEO AND JULIET at the Piccadilly Theatre; Raoul in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at Her Majesty’s Theatre; the Rockstar in TIME at the Dominion Theatre; Kennedy in KING at the Prince Edward Theatre; Edgar in WUTHERING HEIGHTS at the Old Fire Station, Oxford; and The Arbiter in CHESS for Rossen and Ronnow Productions in Denmark.

Previous work work in Australia includes Commissioner Grey in the new musical EUREKA at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Melbourne. Previous work in Australia includes Joe Gillis in a concert production of SUNSET BOULEVARD at Luna Park, Sydney; the Beast in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, for which he received a MO Award; Munkustrap in the Australian production of CATS; Pharaoh in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT; Whizzer in Sydney Theatre Company’s production of FALSETTOS; and Kenickie in the arena production of GREASE.
Michael has performed his own cabaret show throughout Australia and at the Ritz and Savoy Hotels in London, and received rave reviews for his one-man show Michael Cormick Sings Burt Bacharach. Concert performances include MACK AND MABEL in Melbourne and Sydney, and the Australian Opera’s workshop productions of RAGS and DEAR WORLD. He played Rapunzel’s Prince in the premiere concert performance of INTO THE WOODS at the State Theatre in Melbourne. Michael has also appeared at many special events including the Australian Football League Grand Final, and the official opening of Stadium Australia.
