Kip Gamblin
Born in Sydney, Australia Kip trained at the McDonald College of Performing Arts, Sydney and completed his training at the Australian Ballet School, Melbourne.
Kip is currently on our screens playing the popular character of Greg on BBC TV's CASUALTY.
In 2002 Kip joined the cast of HOME AND AWAY for a three year contract, playing the well loved character Scott Hunter. This led to Kip winning the TV Week Logie Award for the Most Popular Male Talent in 2004. Film credits for Kip include Baz Luhrman’s MOULIN ROUGE and the Australian feature film KICK, playing the role of Roland.
Previous to this Kip worked with Australian Ballet (1994-96), Western Australian Ballet (1996-7) and the Sydney Dance Company (1998-2002). During this time, he performed leading roles in PAQUITA, LE CORSAIRE, Maurice Bejart’s LE COMPETITION, Stephen Page’s ALCHEMY, William Forsythe’s IN THE MIDDLE Somewhat Elevated, Stephen Bayne’s Shadows in the Facet and Graeme Murphy’s Air and Other Invisible FORCES, ELLIPSE and his highly successful season of TIVOLI. Many of the productions travelled extensively throughout the world with highly successful tours to Europe, Asia and the United States.
In 2000 Kip was chosen to perform as the sole male dancer presenting Barbra Streisand on stage for her Australian tour of Timeless.
